Pricing
Our prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and contain 7.6 % value added tax (VAT) as required by law. Customers outside of Switzerland may deduct 7.6 % from the stated prices. Shipping cost is not included in our prices; they are stated separately on completion of an order.
Order
Orders can only be placed in the online-shop. Orders by fax, telephone or e-mail are not accepted.
Our e-shop assortment is updated daily. Nevertheless it is possible, that an item is out of stock, even though it is still displayed in the e-shop. If an ordered item is no longer available, the customer is informed by e-mail. The remainder of an order remains valid.
With the submission of an order, the customer enters a contract of purchase with KITCHENER.
Shipping costs
Orders with a total value of CHF 100.00 and over, are sent with no extra cost for shipping inside of Switzerland. Shipping cost for order below CHF 100.00 and/or with a destination outside of Switzerland is calculated individually for each order. These shipping costs depend on the size, weight and the destination address of the order. The shipping costs are displayed at completion of an order in the «overview» section and added to the customer's bill.
Shipments outside of Switzerland can be taxed with customs and V.A.T. by the country of destination. These costs are to be paid by the customer.
Delivery
The following timeframes generally apply for delivery:
- Switzerland: 4-7 workdays
- Europe: 7-21 workdays
- Outside of Europe : 10-30 workdays
We give no guarantee to the adherence to these delivery times. On rare occasions, the stated times may be exceeded.
Conditional Sale
Any goods purchased shall remain the property of KITCHENER - until full payment has been cleared.
Returns
Goods purchased in the KITCHENER online-shop may generally be returned within five (5) days of receipt. KITCHENER will initiate a refund of received payments only upon receipt of returned goods. Refunds are only possible, if KITCHENER receives the returned goods in impeccable condition. Sealed items (books for example) can only be returned if they have not been opened and remain in their original packaging. The customer must cover all shipping costs of returned goods.
Defective goods may be returned within five (5) days of receipt, as long as the defect was not caused by negligence of the customer. Goods with hidden defects may be returned within five days upon emergence of the defect. KITCHENER intends to refund shipping costs for the returned goods in such cases, but only if KITCHENER has been contacted previous to shipping and the type of shipment has been agreed.
Liability
KITCHENER denies liability for damage to purchased goods that may occur through usage – and in particular inappropriate use by the customer.
Privacy
KITCHENER will store only customer data necessary for the transaction of a purchase and will use this data for this purpose only. All customer data is treated as confidential according to data protection law. KITCHENER does not pass on customer data to third parties.
Security
All data is transmitted securely via https (SSL-encryption).
Place of jurisdiction
Our business transactions are based solely on Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction is Bern.

The chosen means of payment is debited upon dispatch of an order.
